The library at Nottawasaga Pines represents the Board’s desire to be a strong community partner. It functions both as the school’s student library and resource centre as well as the community library.
It is open 7 days a week, during and after school hours and has two fronts; one to the public and the other into the atrium/corridor. An impressive glass wall showcases the library and attests to its prominence in the school and to the community.
These entrances naturally divide up the space where during the day, seniors tend to visit and congregate nearer to the public entrance which has more lounge space and furniture. The other end is mostly for student use where there are work tables and computer stations.
